  I had my last appointment with Dr. Zia today. I will not be going to him again. I went to him (2) other times before this appointment trying to give him a chance since I was referred to him by the Veterans choice program. Bad choice. I tried to explain to him the signs and symptoms, and other problems I was having since my previous appointment. He kept interrupting me and wasn't "listening" at all. He doesn't care about the patient, very insensitive, and rude. His staff is alright though. Out of frustration, I started to cry because I was trying my best not to cuss him out and be rude. He didn't ask me what was wrong. He just kept talking and writing prescriptions as tears are streaming down my eyes. I couldn't even tell him everything so he can document it. I asked about any alternative methods to help with my problem and he avoided my question. Instead, he kept talking about other medication that I can "try." I told him that I don't want any prescriptions and he said that its like a daily vitamin. -_- I definitely do not recommend!!

  The office staff is great , the doctor is very rude, has no bed side manner, couldn't stay focused on my needs cause he was busy insulting mines& prescribed me things I don't use. He has no compassion or trys to relate to patient. He can't see and moves slow my eyes he needs to be in nursing home. Every appt I have I leave feeling humliated& never get prescription I need and been taking for years instead I get new medication he wants to "try". Changing doctors asap.

  I only needed to get a physical completed for my job. This was the only place that I called who had openings in such a short notice. Because I really needed the physical by a certain date I went in.During my visit, I got my blood taken for the tests and I met with Dr. Zia in his office and to go over the typical physical questions. The visit was relatively short because I did not have any issues. A month later I received a huge bill. I called my insurance company and they told me that records indicated that I went in for abdominal pain and a office visit. I definitely did not say anything about abdominal pain so that makes me think why was that even there?! After having to call the office consistently and given a run around, I asked to speak with someone else. I was given the number to the office manager and it was her who finally figured out that the wrong codes were sent in for my lab work and because I answered no to "do I sleep well at night?" that my visit was charged as an office visit. The suspicious abdominal pain still baffles me but of course the doctor says he doesn't remember my visit now to change it. I will not be returning. What a way to screw up medical records and give someone a huge bill that was initially supposed to be covered by my insurance. I see why this office was immediately available. If you do not want a run around with the wrong codes being sent in or mysterious diagnosis, I do NOT recommend.
