- ✪ ✪ ✪ ✪ ✪I have seen 4 oncologists since my diagnosis 5 years ago. Piedmont Cancer is, by far, the best. My oncologist is Dr. Assikis and he is wonderful!; not only is he brilliant, he has a great bedside manner, is very personable, and takes time to answer all of your questions. He is a very positive person, so he has a way of easing anxiety. The nurses, ladies at the front desk, and the ladies who answer the phones are all such great people. They are friendly and go out of their way to make you comfortable. The entire staff at Piedmont Cancer goes above and beyond to help people like me live with this dreaded disease.
